Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week ‘25 with Langley

Langley is proud to announce its participation in National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2025, taking place 10-16 February 2025. This annual celebration highlights the positive impact of apprenticeships on individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.

As part of the Langley UK’s group of companies, Langley’s Social Enterprise aims to support the roofing and construction industry by delivering apprenticeships and training through its OFSTED approved centre.

During National Apprenticeship Week, Langley will be shining a well-deserved spotlight on the trainers and the apprentices themselves. Throughout the week, Langley will be showcasing the benefits of apprenticeships, the highly sought after skills for the construction industry that they can provide, as well as encouraging new recruits interested in joining the roofing sector now and in the future.

Neel Bidessie , Director of Social Value and People Development at Langley said “Our OFSTED accreditation training show’s Langley’s commitment to raising the bar by helping people gain an accredited qualification that provides a strong foundation for their futures. We took the opportunity to set ourselves up as a training provider to train industry apprentices as part of a commitment to provide highly sought after skills for the construction industry.”

“Our apprenticeships are designed in partnership with contractors offering people the opportunity to gain new skills and to progress into sustainable employment. We want to bring new talent into the industry and enable staff to develop their skills – whatever level they are at.”

“Langley will continue to invest in people skills development and ensure that learning is industry led. This will ultimately enable Langley to create a social value legacy that has a lasting impact on industry, skills, knowledge and training.”

NAW participation highlights:
  • Apprentice & Employee Spotlights: Throughout the week, we will feature stories and interviews with current and past apprentices, showcasing their experiences and career paths.
  • Trainer Spotlights: Our experts will lead be discussing the benefits of apprenticeships, career opportunities, and discussing the skills the construction industry needs both now and in the future.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of skilled professionals. We look forward to celebrating National Apprenticeship Week and showcasing the positive impact of apprenticeships on our company and the industry.
