Our courses offer a unique opportunity for operatives, managers, supervisors, and other key roles to learn from highly qualified and experienced industry trainers.
We continue to extend our training offering to include both industry known and Langley bespoke courses.
We sit on influential groups – such as LRWA (Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association) and the NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors), which have initiatives such as Safe2Torch and RoofCert.
Our Courses
Waterproofing Membranes Installer
This Level 2 qualification involves installing a range of roofing materials and products at height. It includes interpreting drawings, measuring and calculating the required amount of materials.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma Occupational Work Supervision
Designed for any person that is currently working as a supervisor or foreman and requires a nationally recognised qualification in this occupation.
Level 2 Roofing NVQ Diploma
Designed for any person currently working as an installer that requires a nationally recognised qualification in a specific roofing discipline.
Level 2 NVQ Diploma – Assembly
For operatives who want a formal qualification, or look to gain training in installing lightweight structural steel as part of a flat to pitched roof conversion.
Working at Heights (ROSPA approved)
Our ROSPA approved Working at heights course helps you to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 by providing employers and employees with the necessary information needed to be able to successfully deal with working at height risks and control measures. This includes an understanding of how to undertake a working at height risk assessment to effectively control and manage risks, how to use access equipment safely and how to ensure that employees can reduce their risk of falls from height.
Harness Safety (ROSPA approved)
Our ROSPA approved Safety Harness course is designed for individuals who use safety harness and lanyards in their line of work. The course covers: Health & Safety Laws and Regulations including the Work at Height Regulations 2005. The Responsibilities of Employees and their Employers According to the Law. The Different Types and Applicable Uses of Harnesses and Lanyards. The correct Selection of Equipment. The Safe Inspection of the Equipment. How to Work Safely in your Harness with your Lanyard. Devising a Safe Rescue Plan Should the Worst Happen. The Correct Way to Store the Equipment
Harness FPE Formal inspection course (ROSPA approved)
Our ROSPA approved Safety Harness FPE Formal Inspection Course delivers theory and hands on practical instruction and provides delegates with the required competency to safely and correctly carry out the statutory inspections to general items of fall protection equipment and accurately record their findings. This course incorporates the guidance on inspection regimes detailed in INDG-367 along with supporting sample forms and documentation
Manual Handling (ROSPA approved)
Our ROSPA approved Manual Handling course raises awareness of the dangers associated with lifting and handling and the practical steps that can be taken to minimise and control the risks that it presents.
Rooftop Safety (ROSPA approved)
Our ROSPA approved Rooftop Safety course has been specifically designed for those who work at height on roofs. Course attendees will learn how to work safely on a range of roof types including flat, pitched and fragile roofs.
CITB Short Courses
For on-site roofing operatives looking to enhance and/or refresh their knowledge covering a range of elements within roofing.
Asbestos Awareness Non Licenced Work
Our Asbestos Awareness Non Licenced Work is aimed at and required by all employees who knowingly disturb asbestos containing materials during low risk activities, such as maintenance workers, roofing contractors and those who supervise such works.
Asbestos Awareness CAT A
Our Asbestos Awareness CAT A, covers what asbestos is, the main types of asbestos encountered in the UK, how asbestos causes harm, factors that affect the chances of harm being caused, examples where asbestos is found in the UK, how to reduce the risk of exposure and what to do in an emergency.
Ladder Association Training
As an approved Ladder Association training centre. We are able to deliver a range of courses available to equip ladder users and safety professionals with the knowledge they need to work safely with ladders
